Under Article II of its constitution, the purposes of L'Union Alsacienne shall be :

• To bring together Alsatians and persons of Alsatian descent;

• To promote fellowship among its members;

• To engage in social and cultural activities;

• To provide information to the general public about Alsatian Culture;

• To promote Alsatian Culture by sponsoring events or programs;

• To participate in matters of general or public interest.
