July 18, 2010 - Bastille day petanque tournament |

 This year we decided to celebrate Bastille day in a sportive way! We are forming two teams to play a petanque tournament Sunday 18th in Brooklyn (most likely North and South Alsace), at LA PROVENCE EN BOITE, 6 blocks away from the - much more competitive - Bar-Tabac's tournament.
It is in Brooklyn between the BERGEN and CAROLL stops of the F and G subways. Alternatively, it is a 10-min walk from the M and R "Union Street" stop. Seats are limited. Chef Jean-Jacques is already keeping us a table for Brunch for about 10 people.

July 07, 2010 - L'élan sportif boxing association in NYC |

 Alsatian boxers from association l'élan sportif of Mulhouse will be in New York City July 07th through 13th. The group, lead by cofounder and coach Kamel Tebbane, is made of 11 people including 7 competitors and 2 champions of France.
They will be visiting mythical boxing places, such as the Madison Square Garden, and the Gleason's Gymnastic School, where great champions such as Mohamed Ali or Mike Tison trained. Practice sessions will start this Thursday.

June 22, 2010 - L'Union Alsacienne supports ABCM Zweisprachigkeit school in Bindernheim |

 As part of a program to support the Alsatian language, L'Union Alsacienne gave a donation to support ABCM Zweisprachigkeit school in Bindernheim, near Sélestat.
L'Union Alsacienne representative Benoit Meister was welcomed by children, parents, representative of parents association Les Misela, the General Counsel, and teachers. The donation will be be used to participate in opening new facilities in the nearby township of Muttersholtz. For more information, read the article published in the DNA. |

 The 2010 International B.I.D Summit took place in New York city (Marriott Marquis) one June 1st, 2010. Alsatian Company T.E.I sas wins the International Quality Summit Award.
L'Union Alsacienne president was attending the Ceremony on behalf of Charles Elias, CEO of T.E.I sas. The Ceremony was attended by companies from 74 countries, together with leaders from different business fields, professionals from the worlds of economics, the arts and corporate image, quality experts, as well as academic personalities and representatives from the diplomatic corps.
