.....will be celebrating their 50th anniversary with their first visit to the United States. The Boston/Strasbourg Sister City Association is sponsoring a performance on Thursday, August 14th at the Rabb Auditorium in the Boston Public Library at 5 PM. The Orchestre will also be part of the Mayor's Office of Arts, Tourism & Special Events waterfront concert series. They will perform at Columbus Park on Tuesday, August 19th at 6 PM.
Both Boston concerts are FREE and open to the public. Additional concerts are scheduled on August 18th and August 20th. Visit the website of the Boston/Strasbourg Sister City Association for more info. |

On Sunday, July 13 2008, from noon to 6pm, everyone is invited to be French for a day. Experience the sights, sounds and flavors of France right in your own backyard at New York's "Street Fair with French Flair", Bastille Day on 60th Street from Fifth to Lexington avenues.
Visit the stand of L'Union Alsacienne and sample some of the delicious treats from Queens' bakery store La Marjolaine.
