Hello !
My name is Lisa Mück. I am 17 years old and I live in Salzburg, Austria, with my parents and my younger sister.
Next June I will be graduating and before starting university, I’d like to spend 6 months abroad as an au-pair, not only in order to improve my English, but also to get to know your culture and environment.
I have been learning English for the past eight years and already practiced it during English summer camps in Great Britain and Austria.
As Mom is working for the Salzburg Festival, I have the opportunity each summer to take care of singers and performer’s kids (7 months and older).
We go together to parks, playgrounds and museums or we play at home.
Cooking is not a problem for me, as I already have experience in preparing meals for young children.
I’d prefer a 100 % English spoken language family to improve my English, but I wouldn’t mind, however, to speak German with the kids.
My family and I have already been once in NYC. I was so fascinated by the city! I am ready to work downtown Manhattan or outside, but If you know a great family anywhere else - east or west coasts- I’m very open to help too.
My hobbies are playing the piano, listening to music, going to the cinema with my friends, reading. I enjoy going to the opera and classical concerts.
My favorite sports are skiing, swimming, diving and biking.
I also like sailing very much and I have been on sailing trips since I was a kid. Every year we go sailing in Croatia.
I’m a very open minded, independent and easy person to live with. My friends say that reliability, responsibility and positive thinking are my most outstanding character traits. I can cheer people up quickly and love to work with children.
